This week the two elvish elders of the elvish nations have been tried and executed for their crimes against the Council. The trial had gone on since the initial Northern Elvish Alliance attack on the Council, and it is only now the decision has been reached, with the elders found guilty of conspiring with the NEA.
“It was a very serious decision to make” King Hofuthkorp was reported saying “and not one we could make lightly. It was only with weeks upon weeks of careful deliberation that we came to this conclusion.”
The proof supports King Hofuthkorp, with Elder Fel’sa Mienelle, of Exbaltaira ordering the armies of the Council to the east when the NEA advanced onto the Council territory, effectively conquering the entire territory. The other elder, Mecin Nietre, from Ko’ebbe was found guilty of assisting the Exbaltairan Elder as an accomplice.
The NEA has released no comment on such matters, mostly because they are too busy with trying to kill us, and the NEA has made no attempt to advance into Maékive territory, with Maékive being firmly focused on fighting against the Nightgaunt terrors. It is also due to this that Hofuthkorp will not be going to the Southern Coalition, but will instead be sending a representative in his stead.
There are now only 5 surviving elders left, from the initial 12 of the council. Of the four representing the elvish nations, two were killed by the NEA themselves in an attempt to utterly decimate the royals and Council population. The five surviving will be making the journey to the Southern Coalition, which includes Elder Cupboard of Bree, who had not been present for the Council massacre. The surviving elders, other than Elder Cupboard, consist of representatives from the Kasinthia, Bawerstrom, Jarlsjalfi and Maékive.
Shortly after the execution of the two remaining elvish elders, there was a final mass to honor the deaths of the five elders. There was a special speech held for the dead Sarenúian and Beristan elder, which voted against the NEA in the final votes, as a last show of loyalty to the Council, and were brutally hunt down and killed by the NEA elves as a result. Kelta also sent a representative to respect the dead Keltan Elder, and there was a moment of silence for the two Farthing representatives, since Queen Faelin of the Kingdom of Farthing refused to take any part in the funeral.
